General terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply when you as a customer place an order via www.newhousedesign.eu and all sub-pages of this website. By placing an order from the webshop, you accept that all terms apply between you and Newhouse (Newhouse Design AB). The webshop is operated by Newhouse Design AB, with registered head office in Borås, Sweden (company registration number 556923-9782) (VAT identification number SE556923978201).

Your order is a request to purchase products from Newhouse. When you place your order, you will receive an email confirming that Newhouse has received your order request. This confirmation does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders must be approved by Newhouse and subject to availability. You will receive another email confirming that the order has been packed and is under delivery.

The customer must be minimum 18 years old and a resident in Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Luxembourg or Germany to order via the webshop.

Newhouse shall have no liability in case products are sold out, nor for stock differences, technical problems, changes to specifications or any typographic errors on the website. Newhouse also reserves the right for the case of any incomplete product information.

If Newhouse cannot determine your home address, your order will not be valid. Newhouse also reserves the right to refuse orders in individual cases.

Newhouse strives to make the reproduction of the products on the website as close to reality as possible. However, Newhouse cannot guarantee that all images accurately reflect the product's true appearance, e.g., Newhouse cannot guarantee that the proportions and colours displayed on the website accurately represent the reality of the garments. How the colours are reproduced depends, for example, on your screen an settings in your computer.

All attempts of fruad are reported to the police. Newhouse reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.

Prices

The prices in the webshop are stated in euro including VAT. Prices are quoted excluding shipping and payment fees.

The webshop contains many products, and it is always a possibility that, despite Newhouse's efforts, some products may be incorrectly priced. Newhouse checks the prices as part of the shipping routine. Of course, if a product turns out to have a lower price that what was stated on the website, you can purchase the product to the correct price. If a product proves to have a higher price that stated on the website, Newhouse will either contact you or deny the order and notify you of this.

Please note that any offers and discounts only apply to products at regular prices. Discounted items are available for as long as the campaign runs or as long as there is stock availability.

Payment

We offer several payment methods, for example Klarna or card payment. You will be asked to select payment method in the checkout.

Delivery and shipping

We deliver to customers in Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Luxembourg and Germany.

Newhouse receives and delivers all orders in sequence on arrival. Your order will be shipped with Schenker/GLS or Postnord to your nearest agent or by home delivery.

You will usually receive your goods between 4 and 7 working days after you have recieved an order confirmation. During certain periods of time, such as high season, deliveries may take longer. If an item is out of stock or the shipment is delayed, you will be notified by email.

Delivery costs

Denmark – Standard delivery 6,99 euro, home delivery 9,99 euro.
Finland – Standard delivery 7,99 euro, home delivery 9,99 euro.
Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Austria and France – Standard and home delivery 9,99 euro.
Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg – Home delivery 9,99 euro.

If you shop for more than 250 euro we offer you free shipping.

All shipments send from Newhouse are insured by Newhouse. If you notice any damage to the package before you open it, contact our customer sevice immediately.

Unresolved packages

If an order is not picked up or acknowledged on time, or if a shipment arrives to Newhouse in return due to incorrectly stated address, we will charge 25 euro for Denmark and Finland, 30 euro for Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and Luxembourg to compensate for shipping, handling and other costs.

Exchanges and returns

Newhouse has a 14-day return policy, which means that you can return items you have ordered up to 14 days from the day you received the order, provided that the items returned contain the original labels, are unused and are in their original condition.

Return handling for Denmark and Finland

Newhouse uses digital returns, for a more efficient return management. You will find a return link in your order confirmation, that leads you to a page where you can specify what you want to return and the reason for returning the item. If you cannot find the return link, please go to www.newhousedesign.eu/return, enter your order number and your email address.

Once you have registered your return via the link, pack the item that you want to return and close the package. We ask you to return the item in the same condition as you received it. Fold the garment and put it back in the original plastic bag, enclose the hanger (if the item was delivered with a hanger), close buttons and zippers.

Use the return label that came with the package, and hand in the package to the nearest Schenker representative. We charge a return cost of 9,99 euro for Denmark and 7,99 euro for Finland to compensate for shipping costs. It will take a few days from sending your return until you will receive your refund.

Return handling for Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, France and Austria

Pack the goods you wish to return and seal the package. Use the return label you received with the delivery. If you are missing the return label, please contact customercare@newhouse.se. Then return the package to your designated PostNord MyPack Collect service point.

We charge a return cost of 11,99 euro to compensate for shipping costs. It will take a few days from sending your return until you will receive your refund.

Return handling for Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg

Returns from above stated countries are handled by GLS Europe. If you want to return an item, please contact us at customercare@newhouse.se and we will give all the information that you need regarding parcel pick up and return management. In short, the conditions for the return are the following:

Pick up by GLS could be executed at either a company address or a private address.

The local GLS-office will print the transportation label. The label will be applied to the parcel by the chauffeur.

No pre-notification will be made to the sender before the first pick-up attempt.

The sender is responsible for packing the item in a way that it is protected enough to withstand machine sorting.

If the first pick-up attempt fails, the sender will be notified that a new attempt will take place the following day (working day). The sender can also contact the local GLS-office to agree on an alternative pick up day.

It is NOT possible to return through an agent since the service of international transport by agent is not offered by GLS Europe.

It is NOT possible to leave the parcel unattended at any point. The chauffeur needs a physical signature.

We charge a return cost of 11,99 euro for Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg to compensate for shipping costs.

It will take a few days from sending your return until you will receive your refund.

If a product is defective, you can make a complaint. If the product is used, it must be washed before you return the item. The right of complaint is valid for 3 years. Contact our customer service as soon as you discover the defect. Firstly, we investigate whether it is possible to repair the defect on the item. If this is not possible, we will replace the item with a new equivalent item. If we cannot replace the item or remedy the error, you will be refunded.

Force Majeure

Newhouse Design AB is exempt from sanction for failure to fulfill a certain obligation under this agreement, if the failure is based on a liberating circumstance as below and the circumstance prevents, complicates, or delays the fulfillment. The following should be considered a liberating circumstance; government action or omission, new or amended legislation, labor market conflict, blockade, fire, flood, sabotage, major-scale accident or other type of natural disaster. Force majeure includes government decisions that have a negative impact on the market and products, e.g. restrictions in indication, warning texts, prohibitions on sales, etc., an abnormal decline in the market and whether the company is exposed to criminal activity affecting the business.
